This means that while many places can be accessed by walking, the majority of people drive to and from work and other destinations.
3. It’s Got Great Golfing

4. It’s Got a Rich History
Settlers came to this area in the 1850s, but it wasn’t until 1903 that the town of Irving was founded by J.O. Schulze and Otis Brown. It was incorporated later in 1914. Schulze and Brown worked at the Chicago, Rock Island & Gulf Railway, arriving in 1902 to survey a railroad route connecting Fort Worth and Dallas. They decided that this area would be an ideal site for a new town, so they purchased 80 acres from the Britain family in 1902. The town was named for author Washington Irving.
